hang on because this is going to be a fantastically long entry.
i've got my handphone back.
it was abit crappy how i got it back but it was entirely my mum's doing.
i was upset for two whole days. two whole days! OHMYGOSH.
then on the first day of school, i saw it on the table.
i dont know whether to laugh or cry.
alot of signs, i realised later, were obvious that the handphone was found.
but i just didnt seem to realised it.
it's a love/hate thing.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.
overwhelming. just overwhelming.
so many new faces, the whole new environment. the excitement.
it was a bit nerve-wrecking mainly because i knew no one in my tribe.
which brings me gack to explaining how my camp works.
all the year 1s are divided into 32 tribes
these 32 tribes are then divided into 4 clans.
there can only be one winner, the winner of the Golden Maple Leaf (sounds a wee bit lame here)
SO, i was in tribe MARICOPA and in the MICCOSUKEE clan.

it was a motley crew of people from all over the place.
canberra secondary, st joseph institution, unity secondary, christchurch secondary, ahmad ibrahim secondary, st margaret's...
none of them in the east... it was so scary at first.
my tribe had nineteen people... let's recall.
limei,faith,shirley,alvinxie,alvinfoo,anthony,xinhao,thungliang,jasmine,grace,mudnirah,syahid,regine,stephanie,shimin,farhan,volleyball guy(im sorry i just cant seem to remember your name) and ME :x

time seemed to pass really quickly on the first day.
maybe due to the fact that we were meeting new people and all. yanling arrived in school like just a nanosecond before the national anthem was played. it was quite cool.ohh i forgot to mention.. i was the only dunmanite in my clan..... and yanling was like in WallaWalla, another clan. MICCOSUKEE had an alliance with them. thank god :) germaine and cleo were in blackfoot. (greenfootkong? geddit? =x)hehe. we played station games and it was all fun and laughter. had to roll on the floor with water splashed on it.my personal favourite would have to be blanket and ball. where a huge exercise ball was the ball and blankets(curtains actually) were used to catch and throw the ball. LOVELY game. teamwork was fantastic and everyone worked hand in hand to achieve the best results. at the end of the day, MICCOSUKEE emerged first... leading with a measly 5 points but leading nevertheless. it was motivation. ellis brought food for us! woot. actually we cut queue but that's another thing right? =x OH yanling and i both agreed that innova had eyecandy. LOTS AND LOTS x.x PUDEN!

SECOND DAY OF ORIENTATION.
this was a boring day.

we had some many talks and many people were definitely suffering from buttache. a very rare ache in young active people. :X hehe. realised some teachers have really cool jobs like a high-flying investment officer, lawyer, prison guard.... woah.impressive (: had subject talks and stuff. decided on H2 econs, geog, english literature and H1 maths. first choice...
and that was that... didnt see much of any year 2s =x

THIRD DAY OF SCHOOL
war game! i was one of the bombers. the game was a little confusing. very physical?! i mean you have to be physically fit to be able to survive. anyway, it was played on the track. and people were falling and pushed out of the way and bombed with soapy water and it was all fun! the rain stopped us though and we had an early day. things wrapped up quickly. apparently MICCOSUKEE's OGLs stayed until 8+ to come up with a good preformance...APPRECIATE THAT! (it's not they read this too but hey? what can i do :p) council stole our flags. each flag is like 20 points loh? so we lost our lead for a while and then they decided to return to us i dont know why.hehe.so we're techinically still in the lead! however, we also found out the first and the last had a difference of only 20 points which is so little lah? so we HAD to work harder. had a late night task to find and buy lightsticks. give me the fright of my life. just lucky my parents didnt complain. the shop's auntie is like damn good.let me off with $8 lesser.nowadays where got people like that? (:

LAST DAY!!
hectic. with the last war game and the cca fair. all i needed to bring myself down was cramps. i honestly thought i was going to pass out or something. pespiration was dripping down my face at an alarming rate and i was delirious with pain. thank god for orange juice and understanding OGLs.Lavin (spelling?) was first aid and she did really help. the acidity apparently calmed my stomach and i was feeling still kinda uncomfortable.wanted to go home. i was glad i stayed. it was so much fun. the cca fair was like very noisy and all.

thereafter, we had clan meetings and stuff. steven, my clan leader is amazingly funny and gay. edwin, one of the tribe's leaders was a fabulous guitar player and a good vocalist. one of the best in innova. you have got to hear him to sing to realise the power of his voice. he can rock if he wants to and be the perfect gentleman when he needs to. awesome. we practised this really nice song.

we won best performance! i guess due to the fact we were "value-for-money"
as quoted by Mr Ngeow, our vice-principle.
we had a skit, a dance, a song and cheers... what more can you ask for!?
had some funny compeitions whereby you had to wear as quickly as possibly a frozen orientation camp tee-shirt. MICCOSOKEE was probably lucky because their shirts was not exactly frozen. YAY! the other game
was to stuff as many marshmallows into one's mouth and be able to say BODEWADMI!
it was a tie. i really admired that guy in red (sean? or shawn?)who went up (MICCOSUKEE) for his sense of determination not to disappoint us. his face was going red and yet he presevered til the end.
honourable! with 10 marshmallows in your mouth, it would be quite impossible to say anything?! (:

was really cool. (: hard work finally paid off. so proud of my clan,my tribe my OGLs. highlight of the night was probably the rave party where we just boogied away. with the loud sound system and gryating bodies, it was hard not to move abit. we were all sweaty after awhile but i enjoyed every bit of that. i was mad and abit crazy but that's me! personal HIGHlight of the night.

he's attached though. nevermind, i'll just admire him from afar (: sizzling sizzling hot. let's hope no one reads this. heh heh.

i miss bodewadmi. oh i love the council president, Ian. he's really cool and hip and is an amazing leader. he's really clear and direct with his instructions and one can really see why he's chosen for council president. he's just damn cool lah. a born leader. hm. there were these two girls from my clan that "saved" my life... i dont know their names but i appreciated their help. (;

next week is probably going to be lessons and everything. i would miss my OG. hope to see some familiar faces in class. kinda sad to think about it. everything is getting serious and all. ahhh. cca trials are on next week. yanling and i signed up for so many! like... badminton, canoeing, basketball(?!), shooting(?!) and new media arts/broadcasting. that's hot!
