OKAYYYYY. LOVE IS A CHEMICAL REACTION. how cool is that? some part of your brain will produce dotaphine ( or something like that). it's a neurotransmitter which produces intense energy, therefore giving you the feeling of flight and well, the happy happy feeling you get when you're in love.
how come it doesnt last? the feeling cannot be sustained for too long.. like how you'll need more and more drugs if you are already addicted to them in the first place. tolerance? familiar term for biology people. i think.. and then, novelty is the way to keep the flame in the relationship alive? the average time before the flame dies out is four years, the time taken for a child to grow into an infant. why is this so? the need to reproduce has been satisfied and the two humans (in a crude crude way) can now look for other mates. in a primitive way, why marriage is so joyous is because the male species has found someone to pass on his DNA. *footnote: when i read this, i kept laughing! pass on his DNA... seriously~* that's so cool lah. so now we all know.... love isnt really that unexplainable. it has to do with bodily functions, raging hormones and a common mindset on how the feeling of love is.
