So I was supposed to go OCIP-shopping, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!
Actually, that doesn't really include random musings at the red dot design museum. I tell you that's like the reddest building I've ever ever seen. ( 2 evers for emphasis!) It's like RED. EVERYWHERE outside. It was Sunday when we went and there was some sort of flea market going on. Why do I say some sort of? Well, the things are not cheap. Journals for $30-odd. Brooches (that honestly deserve not to be worn) at like $12 and handmade paper earrings for like $18! I mean, woah, not into serious spending. However, there really are many cute stuff. One I remember very clearly is handsewn sugar biscuits made out of felt and beautifully sparkling beads. Sounds yummy? I didn't dare ask for the price. Just smile alot at the shop keepers. Almost out of embarrassment. Anyway, it sounds like an advert I'm doing. It's on every Sunday at the red dot design museum (28 Maxwell Road). It's near Chinatown. GO! It's fun (:

Look carefully at the reflection in the doors. *YELLS LOUDLY* HI LILI-NG FROM ACROSS-THE-ROAD! That's how crazy we are. Running across roads just to take a kickass picture? Like it? Comment! :x ( I don't want to sound like a comment whore but it does wonders for your self esteem) HAHAHAHAHA. Now, imagine me saying that for real. I sound like I'm in Lit lesson! ( Psst, I hate The Tempest. Bernice & Abi, you know what I mean *winks*)

That's Mao Ze Dong. No, for real. I think he's stalking me or something. Oh wait. I'm stalking him. Damn, should have worn my Mao shirt. He's adorable. Only his head anyway. You know, the Andy Warhol picture of Mao Ze Dong? At a recent Christie's Auction, it was sold for the highest price fetched ever for a Warhol piece of work. It was bought by a HongKong tycoon. That lucky man. I wonder what he seems in him. Heh Heh. LOOKIE AT MY DOUBLEEEE CHIN! eughrgahs.

Psst, Meet Ariel * Shrieks with wild delight, HINTHINT BERNICE* He's my new bf and sadly he permenantly lives in/within red dot. I really think the artists in-charge of this exhibit are brillant. Absolutely brillant. Who wants more pictures?!

Isn't this so old-school-ish? It's soooo red and cheerful and London-ish. LOVEEEEEEEE IT.

MY FIRST PAIR OF SHADES. CHEEEEAP. Hopefully it has UV protection, like the auntie claimed it had! (: ANDANDAND. I HAVE DISCOVERED A CHARM SHOP SO CHARMING AND THE UNCLE IS NICE AND YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN PRECIOUS NECKLACE LIKE THOSE YOU SEE IN LJS. Okay, try saying that in a mouthful LOUD.

Wayang/ Opera singer taking a breather. It was quite freaky. The elaborate stage get up is honestly frightening.
