This post took me... 9 days to upload, sieve through, refine, correct, edit, resize and arrange in midst of my extremely chaotic life. (booooooooo shite)
1) I hope you guys appreciate it
2) Nevertheless, I had fun doing it + a little bit of frustration caused externally entirely.
I
REALLY
REALLY
miss Taipei
NOW! (1.55pm)
*serves as a guage to see how long I'll take to put... 78 Pictures in order. Think my computer might hang. HAHAHA
Here goes~

Supplementary Pictures while we were in flight. Had the lovely company of Liting and Fengling. Was a relatively okay flight. Bitchy service (Do not fret, we were then currently (paradox)the queen bitches; eating all outside food and stuff)

Pleasure. Sounds. Wrong. But it was pleasurable all right (: It was amazinggggg!

I like how the leading lines work in this picture. HAHAH "leading lines", "composition" stuff I read from photog books. K la, I just wanted to take nice pictures k. HAHAHA exposed.

I like our version of Mile High Club better than the sordid, very explicit one. HAHAH. It was exciting and fun without all the grimy... interaction. HAHAHAHA. Shit, I sound illusional.

Because I (we) got high~ Because I (we) got high, Because I (we) got high~~~ la dee la dum la dee la dum DUM DUM (:

Excited peeps all lined up in a straight row (: I love you girls! Crystal Clear!

Hitting the nearest night market which Darren gave us a map to. Being new to the area/alleys/backlanes/night/darkness/country; a 5 minute walk (Darren's estimation) became like a 20 minute slow, careful exploration. Road signs were awesome though. So... Chinese :x Self explanatory picture. Laughing and talking in the slightly familiar environment, bit of heat, humidity like back home. But comfort in the knowledge of cool hostel, cool bunk beds/sheets, excitement in DUH the trip itself.

Food in Shida, this is of course not all. Being the new and excited tourists. We bought... the octopus balls first, cheap and flavourful. Wasabi powder or something. Really starchy/flour-y first taste. Monster Snot, SEERIOUSLY SINGAPORE'S OYSTER EGG THING WINS... HANDS/FEET DOWN! (: Huashi smth mian, Cuttlefish ball with weird mint(?) leaves floating around; lending to it an exotic but.. LOL unwelcome taste. Too herbal? No no, Herb-y more like it. Like grass. Ugh.. There's more! Fries Cup; Mozerella cheese sticks, Superb milk tea (Kickstarting our daily fixation with it) , Chicken cutlet THE WHOLE TRUTH of it, Shanghai Pork buns or something like that WAS GOOD crystal jade standard but cheaper... Can't remember buying any other food and shopping. Like.. cute things, earrings. stuff. Was just keeping our eyes peeled.

Whole point of this is... quite obvious. Bad spacing & spelling. Very funny/weird meaning.

Caramelised Apples in all sorts of flavours and everything. We were tempted to buy it but we didn't. Had it on... day 5 instead? Where we went to STAGE and meet a pig. No, seriously, like a real pig. Alive and... moving on a lease. HAHAHA. Doesn't it look good? (: (: (:

Ahem, style shot. Can't actually understand the chinese words.

We crowded into a little circle, careful not to obstruct the way on the somewhat cluttered street and ate quickly, initially systematically. It was really primitive and fun! ahhaha. Not 2 words I would use together normally but it was unlike anything we do in Singapore. Image la. HAHAHA.

Last picture of first night in what was the foreshadowing "pec defining moments" EE hostel was great. Agnes and Yanling had good sense to pack in orange pyjamas. The lighting was a nice warm orange, VIOLA~ Blending into walls. It is not funny now cos that moment's gone. But it was bloody hilarious while we were at it. Something in the air maybe.

Day 2; classic shot at where else, the metro. Jie Yun Zhan. HAHAHA.
We had little difficulty trying to get from Point A to B, but it really helps if you have knowledge of Chinese. Many people, very similar to Singapore but the walking distance to change trains is really long. Like much more than Outram green line to purple line. MUCH MORE if you have luggage. HAHAHA!

Brunch! Beef noodle combo with a drink and side dish of vegetables. Was about 5-6$? Kinda like Taipei's version of Yoshinoya. Kinda. The feeling. AHAHAH. Yanling made an astute observation. Many people eat alone there. Like... 50% were lone strangers? This was at Ximending btw, the place I see on TV! Where Wu Zhong Xian (No Middle Line) would start his food programmes in the beginning. Right? My memory.. is fading. HAHAHA.

Really cool communal clocks/thermometers. Singapore shouldn't even have such things cos' everyone will just stay at home and melt in front of their electric fans. AHAHHA. It'll be like.. 30 30 30 for 3 days. Then 29 on the day it showers. Then 32 31 30. Blah. Depressing. 18deg cel WAS WAY COOL. Literally and figuratively. Like I packed my luggage to go to another Singapore-esqe place so imagine how... semi-naked we(okay, mostly me) all looked. Taiwanese with coats, Singapore (blur) tourists in shorts and tee. HAHAHHA. Juxtapostion.

Invasion of Domo. There were a lot of shops like specialising in these UFO catch-y thing things. Like entire shops JUST WITH ALL THESE DIFFERENT COLOURFUL MACHINES. Liling had fun, spending some money and not getting anything; and spending effort getting 4/5 free keychains. She's THAT lucky. We tried dirty tricks too. Not to seduce the man in charge of the machines but with someone's trusty comb (which was unfortunately not long enough) to hook out a Raaaaahbu (Spelled as LOVE hahaha) & an alarm rang and we walked away, bounce in our stride (probably due to adrenaline) and laughed after 20 steps away.

Style shot number 2, probably you can see more of Taipei's streets here. Neon lights that are not lighted up because it's in the day. Moped culture. SO many bikes everywhere. Signs in chinese. All of them. AHHAHA. I probably would not be able to drive there cos of all the insanely diffcult words in one JUST one street sign.
After this we shopped like mad hogs in WuFenPu. Think very excited.. not much pictures taken. Was a wet rainy day. Cold, drippy. Not the best shopping day for me cos I couldn't find my mojo. NO, just didn't see much I liked. HAHAHA.

Shot taken after WuFenPu I think. All happy faces. HAHA & empty wallets. HAHAHAHA.

Raohe Night Market after the insanely smelly loo at the train station. It was like a breath of fresh air. Cos I think we were all drained, tired from all the shopping and like bit grouchy. So findning this place. Was. What WE NEEDED! I mean, Fengling got 4 pairs of shoes on this day. That's the kind of spirit. Shop till you drop! Hahaha.

" FL: Kiss me Kiss me!
Agnes: nah Nah ni poo poo. over my dead body"
(I hereby invite you to play "Caption That", think of anything funny please tag me!)
Candid Shot of.. squabbling lovers. HAHAH. no.. seriously GOOD PLACE FOR DINNER. All this insane but immaculate finds in our trip. We were attracted to like their blazing fires to which they prepared the hotpots and kinda wandered into this place.

Look at the runny yolk and fresh crisp lettuce. ON A COLD NIGHT, THIS IS PROBABLY EVEN BETTER MORE COMFORTING THAN A BF. AHHAHA. (God, please don't punish me but sometimes, food is way better than relationships) And Liling's a-okay sign... PICTURE PERFECT. Timing was really good/lucky (:
And then we shopped around even more, streets were relatively empty and quiet. Not crowded. Just the way I believe all of us liked it. The rain.. thought remaining my pet peeve, was like secondary. Whatever la. Thereafter we returned home via taxi. Liting was quite freaked. Our driver was kinda speeding and for the fact, everything looked like streaks of light after awhile. Car lights, neon signs, zoom zoom zoom. Can you imagine not. HAHAHAh. It was not expensive the cabfare and.. it was kinda late already? So worth it. Went back... and this was when the real fun started.

One day, Dr Lai was feeling bored. So she got down to packing her very very disorganised medical kit. She saw a falsh of pink and was curious, not remember putting anything pink into her heftly medical kit. She fished it out and looks at it, vaguely lost before all her memories came back to her. That was no ordinary pink bag. It was given to her by her mentor who inherited it from his great grand aunt's uncle who was coincidentally his gay best friend's wife. It apparently could heal all users back to their original healthy state. Dr Lai realised this bag was the cure to all of the problems she was currently facing with expensive cures and difficult patients. She fixed it up, adjusting a few stray threads and went inside.
It was a thoroughly amazing feeling and she felt rejuvenated. She flashed a victory sign to someone of no specific significance and jumped out youthfully. She had found the ultimate cure. Little known to her...
Her first patient *ahem* victim, Quah Quah Quah Quah~ was in need of some respite. She had has 3 nervous breakdowns due to the stress levels in SGP. She wanted to feel relaxed and heard of this new machine. She decided to give it a try, stepped bravely into it. Dr Lai comforted her, knowing her evident fear (along with high stress levels) She heard a strange whining sound and was momentarily suprised. She then remembered the 500k her client has already given her and ignored it; reason being it could be normal. She instructed Quah Quah Quah Quah and despite being very unsure, she went ahead and zipped it up allowing the machine to work its magic. She then heard the whining sound getting louder and louder and ran away.
There was a loud bang and... the bag stopped showing signs of life. Dr Lai failed to appear....
3 weeks later, someone of no specific significance appeared and approached the bag with caution. Unzipping it with slow apprehension, the truth is finally revealed. Quah Quah Quah Quah farted while the machine was whining out of fear and the toxic fumes shut down the machine. Feeling safe and sheltered, Quah Quah Quah Quah fell into a deep slumber. So deep indeed I wonder what's the point of this. HAHAHAHA.
The plan was to scare The trio that was bathing. But plan failed. We got our first official pec defining moment here I believe. HEHE

Second pec defining moment when the bored... started to play with pants that can't fit. It was insanely small? So.. We decided to revise it as a headband instead. To save the environment, we must recycle! ahahahha. It was DAMN HILARIOUS again I SWEAR. Ahhh come on, Quah Quah Quah Quah don't be shy!

Style shot three. Like the grills (:

! ! ! J as in Jay? And large wooden doors are damn... awesome. Took quite long to find this place. We were like the first customers. Touted as a French-Italian restuarant; the lunch set was 160NTD which is... cheap la! So try loh.

We laughed quite hard at this. Felt really bad. BUT hahha. Yanling had some chicken lag. HAHAHA. sounds like a disease or something. But okay, bad english.. is just plain bad okay. What French Italian; get your basics right first. Had a funny conversation with the (pretty) waitress too. Found out.. the real McCoy was just a shareholder and he visits that place for food... regularly when he has time. Oh My Gosh. Then Liling kina blurted out then Jolin Tsai? AHHAHA Does she come here?HAHAHAHAHA So scandalous. HAHAHA. Waitress didn't skip a beat and answered. So professional really.

Lovely shot. Even lovelier toilets. Weird toilet bowl though. No picture of that. HAHAHA. It had like 2 holes. HAHAHA.

With the man ('s portrait) himself. Fat thighs fat thighs fat thighs UGH!

The food. Herb-y again for the vongole. The tomato-ish pasta was.. okay. I liked the cheese cubes most thought. My carbonara was not bad. Heng I stuck with the familiar. The soup (no picture) was at best, dissapointing. Would just stick to Campbell. I mean, it was like... essence of mushroom cream with 10 times more water than the instructions called for. Milk tea was good. But I like the TeaShop's one more still?

Manicure (for those with long pretty nails) Crazy with lace example! And Toilet Disaster. LOL. Enough said. Moving on :c

Taipei 101! The much talked about bookshop... at least the one that we found... Singapore also have. Page One. Not bad la. They have lomo cameras too just not too sure about the price so... too bad so sad. Lots of branded goods. Too much actually. It was culture shock of another kind. Heh heh heh.

We're facing Singapore! Apparently. Bumped into this group of rather.. unfriendly Singaporeans. We were just standing facing Singapore... and like after taking the picture we kinda just lingered around. Then we kinda realised that group was shooting looks at us like... they want to take picture too. Wait your turn lah! LOL LOL.

Sushi Takeout at Jiantan Station mailnly cos we were starving and it oh looks so good! (:

Ferris wheel; bit too rickety for everyone's liking I think. Rain made it abit stupid as the pictures taken all had like raindrops. Someone should invent plexiglass that's safe and also like super slippery so... for viewing purposes outdoors, we'll always have... clearer views!

Had to flash ourselves silly to get decent pictures & Liting, I'm so proud of you! (: Those twinkling lights in the background form the nightscape of Taipei la.

Do have some pity on Dr Lai. After abandoning everything she had to resort to selling brollys from her hoodie. Think she kinda choked on it, 5 umbrellas are no joke. HAHAH not a light joke. AHAHHAA

Cos we're fly like that. Random shots give you the funniest... pictures. EVER. Fling's hands.. Agnes's expression..Liling's laughter.. Wow (:
K introduction to our humble abode;

Very pro-recycling which is awesome. Filled with guidebooks and books on philo and there was evern Sense and Sensibility. Room where 6 girls make a lot of noise nightly. Wesley used to have the room all to himself, explaining the slightly Charlie-Angel-rish image. HAHAHA. Wesley's Private Room so if we're the girls in that room, we're technically Wesley's girls so yay! Can we kick your butt now? AHHAHAHA.

Rain rain rain ALL DAY. So pissed I tell you. Day I changed another $100 to NTD (: (: Mopeds all neatly lined up again. Weird chinese signs!

Style shot 4. We all have brollys on this fateful day. Really cool (:

ZOO ZOO ZOO! Spacious would be an understatement. Would want to go to our Mandai one SOON! (: (: Check out the stone monkeys? How many can you count?

I may have developed an unhealthy obsession with FLAMINGOS.
AHA. They're skinny, silent, pink and cute. What's there not to like?

They look so similar; like wardrobe sisters. Dark jeans, Green shirts, dark cardigans! HAHAHAH. The pump thing is really cute. Icy cold rainwater gushes out.

Look ma! New kind of birds! :x :x :x Birds with no wings!

Touristy shots with the yaks and the yak herder!

MaoKong. (Cat Space) HAHAHHAAH. I kept pronounciating it as Hair(Mao) Kong( as in Kong Bu de Kong) WRONG WRONG WRONG!

Hmmm, I like how my hair looks like in this picture.. Flat. HAHAHAH

Hey what's there? Do you think it could be my pink miracle bag?
Yanling: Uhh ( non-committal grunt)

Famous mian xian. Not bad not bad. Pork innards balls were quite gross and and and it's doubly awesome with lots and lots of vinegar!

Tian Wai Tian! (: then we had out caramel apple here with dark chocolate. The apple was a green one and I thought the flavours worked really well together. Hehe. We ate at some Ximending place too called the Pasta Bar, it was good. The waitress was nice and it felt like they were all students wokring part time, something we can relate to? Hehe.

Day 5; Dante's Coffee.
Good food I would say. I liked everything. Fresh salad. WAS REALLY FRESH. Chicken was flavourful. Soup was not very thick but thicker than Mr J's one. Caramel Macchiato Yummy! Was it today that the "No Sugar on the train" saga occured? Tang (Sweets) in chinese directly translated into sugar. Ahhhh, to think we get criticised for things like incorrect pronounciation when they can't even get their nouns right. HAHAHA. It could be their faultly hearing too. Sigh... The blame game.

I lost my metro card around here/this time. Oh well, for a nice picture. :x

HOT SPRING! Really thought I was going to boil in that pool of HOT HOT HOT water. Like it was scalding me. Ph 1.5 Scared the acidic shit out of me. HAHAHA but it turned out to be really enjoyable. Once you get out of the I'm-freaked-out-by-hot-water mode!

Trying to give you a hint of the population there. There were 7 young girls (Below 20) and 0 young boys and... maybe 40 elderly folks. It was bit unnerving. HAHAHAH.

Sundown (:

Valentine's Bridge. Really just a bridge that is honestly filled with couples. That's all. Very bare, not touristy enough actually. Which we discussed was quite a waste. It could be like Singapore's ECP but.. hey. we're not developers in this field, we give ideas! HAHAHA

We have lotsa love too. So we deserve a picture. HAHAHA. more than one actually.

Red Castle. We reached here after we crossed the bridge. Had coke and a hotdog and cigarettes (!Gasp!) and back across the bridge to a bus did we find this place. AWESOME! Shopped like mad. Agnes bought 2 Dizi! (: Liling bought Tikam Tikam which made us laugh a lot later in the night. HAHAHAHA!

I like this photo. Not because of the lighting which is bad sorry people but for the feeling I get when I see it? Spontaneous? Youthful? Fun? Like... It kinda makes me feel complete. Like who would I be without you guys? Probably completely shattered. But before this descends into worst emofest, it was fun taking selfshots. I want the pictures Dr Lai! ! !

I like my icecream long.... & creamy(which this was not) but for like 50cents. Who can get such a thing here. Novelty! ! ! (:

Papp Shots! Click on it to enlarge and laugh~ Dr Lai, sorry. Too good to not put up! (: I love you faux Jolin Tsai!

6 girls, 4 days of shopping, small room. Don't expect a pretty sight. HAHA!

Style shot 5. Like the.. starkness of it?

Last day morning. We wandered into the less modern buildings of Guting. Didn't adjust any contrast here. The sun was being very strong.

Picture of how nice Yanling's bed is kept. She kinda ordered me to take the picture :x

One more hostel shot!

Good shot. Wish it was less blurry. Yanling! ROFL!

Posted it once. What's once more? (:

Style shot 6. On the bus back. Quite sad already. Luggage all very heavy also. Poor Agnes's hand like almost got blisters.

Very empty airport w/o Yanling already. We were on the way to meet her if I'm not wrong. AHHAH. Nice cap Liling. Liting looks... unprepared.

sad already. The milk tea not so nice and expensive. Ham and cheese croissant was good though! Buttery. Maybe more perfect if it was less dense and more flaky?

Sexy leopard pooh! Jolin Tsai's property.

Let's just say people do funny things when they're bored. And by funny things, I really do mean stupid things. hahahahah.

Last parting shot of pooh with cool cap, lovingly carressed by owner. HEHEH!
It's 4.07pm. I hardly ever left the computer table. Now, I'm tired and want to sleep which is not the point! BUUUUUT okay, I hope you didn't go blind reading this!
Will update with more recent events ASAP! (:
